This makes me Mark, the Monday Morning Mutineer, having given up my day job in search of adventure. In doing so, the gruelling early morning, beginning of week routine is a necessary sacrifice.
This site is primarily a personal place, acting as a journal and somewhere to store memories, observations, useful links and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time whilst travelling the globe throughout 2007 and 2008..
In the spirit of this site’s name, if anyone has a particular idea in mind for a monday morning mutiny to make the adventure more interesting – send a comment or email detailing the challenge!
If it’s eyecatching, original or funny enough and wouldn’t involve a long period of subsequent incarceration, there’s a reasonable chance it will come to fruition and words will become actions.
Then again, it may not. Who knows?
This is especially true if grand sums of money are involved. Bribes are accepted here.

Hi Mark,
A week before leaving you came to ask if I had your Akira DVD and I said no. Well I have found it. I feel really guilty so if you email me an address I’ll post it back anywhere you want.
Well it looks like your having a fab time, so see you when you get back for another late night poker session!
