Fish have feelings too..

Many people assume that fish don´t have feelings.

Try telling that to this poor fish who was so sad when we left that it started to cry. Taken at the Japanese Gardens in Palermo, Buenos Aires:

Sad Fish

Other photos of the Zen and flow (but mostly of other Koi) on this overcast day just before sunset can be found here:

One of the Koi reminded me of someone that I couldn´t put my finger on at first:

who?

an unusually coy dali..

Awww that’s made my day, new desktop set of the cute puckered up Koi :o) Brilliant pics by the way, how many did you need to take to get those beauties?!

  2. Thanks!

I took roughly 25 – 30 pictures of fish in various poses. About 10 were worth keeping, the rest were blurry or uninteresting.
On one hand, it was easy getting those shots because the Koi are so inquisitive (stupid and hungry?!) so I just had to wave my hand above the water and they surfaced, greedily gobbling at the air.
On the other it was difficult because the light was so bad and I didn´t want to use the flash.
Love the sad fish photo – just wish it was in focus a little more and less noisy..
