It’s Alive! ..and so another site spews itself onto the webscape.
Welcome!
Who am I?
Have a look at the About page and find out.
Β The date draws close for the impending departure from the UK, in search of adventure and warmer, more exotic climes.Perhaps impending is the wrong word. That would tend to imply a sense of foreboding on the road ahead, as illustrated left.
Β There is no foreboding here.
Yet leaving behind the British winter in all it’s frosted cobweb glory in less than two weeks has hammered a certain urgency to the situation.
A rare and pleasant urgency.
I will be found wandering in South America and Mexico, visiting some friends in San Francisco and Vancouver before getting onto the more serious business of further wandering throughout Asia, mainly in the south east.
But first, in about two hours time, I have to move out of the house I’ve been renting in Newbury, my base for the last 18 months.. It’s been a good house – I’ll miss my flatmates, Sharon and Clare and all my work mates but there’s no time for nostalgia right now.
Ok, maybe just a little bit..
Goodbye house!

the time to worry is when a sense of foreboding becomes a sense of impending doom π good to see you took enough time away from partying to get this up and running. if we dont see anything for a while we’ll know you’re having far too good a time ! A x

Marky!
So sad to see you leave, its not the same without you.
On your day of departure we closed your door, not wanting to look at the emptiness, it was felt that you would return – we hoped!. Two days past and nowhere to be seen! – still sinking in! – We DEMAND you come home! dont see what the world has to offer you that Sharon and I in our home cant!! – how very selfish of you!!
I wish you eternal happiness searching the world for something far greater than what the majority of populations accepts as life. Take care and all the best! You will be greatly missed, a member of our family-gone!
